-BIG 105 presents Bull Skit live comedy and improv Friday and Saturday evenings at the Scott Block Theatre downtown. Tickets are $23 at Sunworks or at the door.

-RDC Celebrates the 25^th Anniversary of the Arts Centre in conjunction with Alberta Art Days. The weekend features cultural activities and free Mainstage shows. There is free admission to all the events with a donation to the Food Bank.

-BIG 105 presents the CIBC Run for the Cure Sunday at Lindsay Thurber High School, raising money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The event goes rain or shine.

-BIG 105 presents the With This Ring Bridal Gala Sunday at the Harvest Centre at Westerner Park. The doors open at 10:00am with fashion shows at 11:30am & 2:00pm.

Sports

-The Red Deer Rebels, ranked third this week in the CHL top ten rankings, have two games in two nights as the boys are in Saskatoon Friday and Prince Albert Saturday. All games can be heard on our brother station 106.7 The Drive.

-The Heritage Junior B Hockey regular season begins this weekend with Blackfalds at Okotoks and Stettler at High River on Friday, Stettler in Red Deer and Ponoka at Coaldale on Saturday and finishes with Ponoka at Medicine Hat on Sunday.

-The Chinook Hockey League has the Bentley Generals home to Fort Saskatchewan and Sylvan Lake at Stony Plain on Saturday with Sylvan Lake hosting Stony Plain Sunday.

-High School Football has Hunting Hills at Wetaskiwin and Notre Dame at Sylvan Lake Friday. Stettler takes on Lindsay Thurber Monday evening as the game was rescheduled for students/staff to attend the funeral for Coach Blair Murray. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
